The media could not be loaded. This is my first personal experience with a vacuum sealer. With a big family and a lot of food ways I knew I needed one, but I didn’t want a crappy one. I decided to take a chance on this. It looked like it would take up a lot of space, but it actually fit really well on a big shelf, I was frustrated because I found that the power cord was smaller than it should be and even though I was close to an outlet, I really had to stretch to get it in. It says not to plug it in to an ungrounded outlet or into an extension cable bar.So once I figure it out where I could put it and keep in mind yes it is heavy. I am a woman, but I lift weights not everyone could lift this thing. Then I realized I needed to put oil in the back, I basically needed to dump in the whole bottle of oil provided. After that it seemed it was ready to go. Oh, and I used one of the bags included with the machine and I loaded it up with a bag of pepperoni. We were never going to finish before it spoiled. I press the automatic feature because I have not yet experienced enough to do customized, vacuum seal. I read the instruction manual, and I think that the manual is not great but it’s good enough. Using the drawing and the instructions I was able to figure out what I needed to do.Note** I did not find anywhere in the manual that said you needed to install the seal bar yourself, but you do it is package separately from the unit and you just have to place it in place. There are no tools needed.Anyway, before I knew it, the package was sealed and I was standing there in awe. This thing is a legit beast and it is pretty awesome.
