We don’t usually deal in pianos like this. But this is an Erard, a French piano made by Sebastien Erard in the 1840s. Mr Erard was the main innovator in the transition of the grand piano mechanism to upright and the incredibly beautiful cabinet of this piece has been lovingly restored in the last 20 years. A spectacular piece of workmanship in woodwork, this is a piano that would catch the eye of any enthusiast. This is not the instrument you would choose if you are a concert pianist, but one that still has plenty to offer the piano lover.
