Terminal Fuse Block Marine Rated Battery Fuse MRBF Fuse Holder 30-300 AMP

These are usually for marine applications, with which I’m not familiar. I got this to use in a DIY stationary backup battery application with LiFePO4 cells. The studs are pretty long, so you can bolt down a fuse plus several lugs on each stud. Each stud is isolated from the base and from each other. The fuses connect the flat metal tab to the studs separately. The flat metal tab bolts down to the battery terminal. You can get two separate circuits from one of these blocks, each with separate fusing. This is intended to bolt onto the positive terminal, but since my system (a portable inverter with a battery pack on the top) is not grounded, I connected it between the BMS and the negative terminal of the battery. In a grounded system, this should only be used on the positive side, since any positive wire could short to the metal chassis or hull. It’s pretty solid. The hardware is all clean (no grease residue or corrosion) and doesn’t bind or break loose under the loads I applied to torque the fasteners. I ordered fuses separately, since this does not come packaged with any.
