Very impressed on this 240V Heater.We installed it in our 2 car garage. We first installed the brackets and and tested the heater attachment to the bracket backed by a 2×4 long piece of wood. To ensure it is easy to hang after we install the 2×4 into the ceiling studs. IT is must easier if you back the brackets with a long 2×4 wood.So far it puts out some hot heat. I am glad we put the 2×4 backing as it gives it another 2inches from the ceiling. The heat is that strong. You need to use a fan to circulate.We had 11F to low 20F freezing hard freezer last week in TX. So I had to protect some items in the garage.Although the setting for heat was 17 or 27. We used both. YOu have a timer you can set up to 24hrs or a bit longer. Although I dont feel safe having something run that long. I gave it a 3-4 hrs timer span to shut off to cool down before I waited to turn it on again for precautions.The garage did get up to around 50Fs but I didnt expect it to warm it since outside was in low teens and windchills was lower. Im happy with the purchase and quality is great. I wish it wasnt so pricey I would have bought 2.Definitely recommend anyone looking for a garage heater. Maybe I might buy for our patio. Bc the 240V is strong heat. Remember you need to have a 240V plus before you buy this.Will upload photos later. [...]
