Used this on a IKEA cantilever umbrella. Fit was fine, zipper went high enough to throw the top over the umbrella and tug down into position.It’s been 7 months since I starting using it and the top of the cover has split open, leaving the top of the umbrella exposed; I’ll likely tape it together but it’s only a matter of time before the whole thing falls apart. I’d estimate that I took it on/off about 10-15 times total. There was no downward pressure to initiate the tear so I presume it was just the chronic weight of the cover against a reasonably blunt umbrella top that caused the tear.These covers aren’t meant to last forever, I just wish it would last 1 full year.UPDATE – Appreciated the excellent customer service: the seller contacted me, without my prompting, upon seeing my review; I took them up on their offer of product replacement. I received the identical product fairly quickly. Upon inspecting the old ripped product, it appears that the metal top of the umbrella wore against the interior of the cover. I cut up the old cover so that I could use strips of it to reinforce the interior of the new product and insured that the metal tip of the umbrella rubbed against the reinforced areas. Also added some brown duct tape for extra reinforcement and it’s not visible from the exterior. Again, these products aren’t designed to last for years, but hopefully reinforcing the contact points might add some longevity.
