This is by far the BEST grow mix I have ever used! I’ve read the reviews where folks were whining about the “sticks” in the dirt … well there are pieces of organic matter and yes there are very SMALL sticks, but there is nothing in the this grow mix that will stop seeds from germinating. I’ve used this to successfully start all of our garden veggies, zinnias, sunflowers, and herbs … with 100% success rate every time. I’ve also used this grow mix to start African violets from seed, cactus from seed, and rooting African violets as well as Picasso petunias. This has been our second year using this mix, and we’ll use it again every year going forward. I couldn’t be happier with this stuff. And, the African violet seeds I started in January, one of those plants is now blooming! Ignore the whining about the big sticks and try it!
