The parts of this TV stand look and feel well-made. Assembling it was fast and easy. Its instruction manual is large, well-written, and probably one of the best manuals I have seen for a while. Its base is heavy, lowering its center of gravity and making it more stable and sturdier than the other two pedestal TV stands that I have.I enlarged the third picture on its webpage and did some measurements. The width of the TV was about 8.25 inches, and the width of the base was about 4.5 inches. This 4.5 inches represented the width of the base, which was 21.8 inches; therefore, one inch measured in that picture is equivalent to 4.84 inches in real life. Since the width of the TV in the picture was 8.25 inches, in real life, it would be around 40 inches. The aspect ratio of most TVs is 16:9; if its width is 40 inches, then its height is:(40 inches / 16) x 9 = 22.5 inchesUsing the Pythagorean formula, we can get the diagonal size of that TV:Diagonal = square root (square (40 inch) square (22.5 inch)) = 45.89 inchesTherefore, the size of the TV shown in that picture is probably 46 inches. That is the reason why it looks quite stable. If they took a picture of this stand with a 65-inch TV, it would look precarious. Judging by how sturdy and stable this stand is for this type of stand, I believe it can hold a 65-inch TV, but it might not be that stable. I would not attach a 65-inch TV to it.I used this stand for a 40-inch TV, and it is sturdy and stable. The chance of it falling over is small.Overall, I like this TV stand, and I recommend it.
